Job Purpose
Brown field project & Engineering is part of Project Engineering community in Renaissance that provide project support to the Asset team. The Senior Engineer is to provide support to multi-discipline engineering (and specialist support) functions to deliver the suite of projects in Asset team in line with the Renaissance Opportunity Realization Standards, to the agreed project schedule, at the right quality and standard, within the approved cost, to ensure the overall objectives of the Project & Engineering portfolios of projects are met
Responsibilities
• Provide support in all aspects of engineering design, construction, HSSE and quality to ensure that the NLNG
Gas Projects meets top quartile safety, quality and technical standards.
• Develop and strengthen the interrelationship between the EPC contractor, OEM, Vendors, Owner’s team,
Asset team, and other support functions to deliver project in line with project objectives.
• Support in preparation and present detailed project descriptions and justifications as required to obtain necessary approvals from corporate and governmental bodies.
• Support in contracting strategy and tender documents preparation.
• Support in taking new projects to FID.
• Effectively manage the Projects’ interfaces with other projects and facilities, and liaise with Operations
representatives to ensure their requirements are considered during project execution.
• Ensure that the requirements of the EIA and Integrated Operations Philosophy are fully addressed in the design,
construction and commissioning of the facilities.
• Interface with the EPC Contractor for materials procurement aspects of the EPC contract from manufacturing through ex-works to delivery at site.
• Manage all aspects of HSE and quality issues on the project, during the engineering and construction phases to
ensure targets are met.
• Monitor and coordinate approval of all specification/design change controls:
• Manage project risks and opportunities to the benefit of the Company
• Liaise with SP team to manage community issues / liaison to foster lasting relationship with host
• Effectively plan, execute, manage and deliver the project engineering and integration of facilities aspects of the NLNG Project.
• Ensure that the Facilities are executed with due regard to the Project technical and business standards and requirements, the required completion date and budget.
• To ensure the production of an overall integrated project engineering deliverables that consider plant safety, operability, reliability, maintainability, and availability to meet the Opportunity schedule, Cost & Production Promises.
• Responsible for the project execution strategies/plans.
• Project engineering delivery and technical assurance in the project. The key focus is to deliver professionally all the project engineering requirements.
• Drive Third party execution contractor’s performance for all project engineering aspects.
Supervisory Level: Individual Contributor
Requirements
• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least 10 years relevant work experience in oil & gas industry with working knowledge of project engineering systems, tools and practices. Experience in offshore construction will be an added advantage.
• Member of a recognized professional engineering body.
• Candidate must have at least PMQ certification.
• Project Management skills with experience in managing contracts.
• Project management experience and skills.

• Experience with relationship and contract management of OEMs and contractors
• Proven leadership qualities and excellent team building/ playing capability, with high personal integrity and respect for people.

• Can manage as required the relationship with key stakeholders to achieve projects’ objectives.
• Thorough understanding of the risks and the technical/commercial issues associated with development and production of oil and gas.
• Proven track record of results delivery in challenging project environments.
