Project Controls Engineer

• The position is responsible for collating all activities related to the consolidation of project controls support in the NLNG Gas Supplies Project Services.

• NLNG supplies the primary resource focal point for top-notch project controls.

• Responsible for performance reporting, including collation of portfolio weekly highlights.

• Responsible for securing credible project schedules and cost estimates at various levels.

• Developer of the Project Controls Plans for implementation in each project.

• Support the development of contract pricing and administration instructions for alignment with the company's project control structure.

• Participate in the development of contract key dates, milestones, and Company plan dates for alignment with the overall integrated plan,

• Champion Project Controls capacity development requirement to strengthen the key execution contractors.  

• Review scope change requests for the total installed cost & schedule impact. 

• Participate in the MOC process with the Cost Engineering and Planning Teams for variations valuation in the portfolio.

• Contribute to close-out reports as input to Lessons Learned.

• Focal point for benchmarking efforts for other Renaissance projects.

Supervisory Level: Individual Contributor 

• Minimum of Bachelor's degree in in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management and Sciences

• Minimum five years of project services or appropriate experience in project controls or project management.

• Sound understanding of project services systems, interface management, performance reporting, and good interpersonal skills. 

• Proficiency in Power BI and other reporting software.

• Possess a primary skill in Project Engineering, Project Services (Cost Engineering, Cost Estimating, Project Planning and Risk Management), Finance, CP and ICT. 

• Proficiency in AI development will be an advantage.

• APM Certification is an added advantage.

• Track record of results delivery in challenging project environments.
